INKspired Blog Hop 49

Welcome to the INKspired Blog Hop. I hope you've had a wonderful week with another coming right up.

Well, it's almost the end of the school holidays, and I have to say that while it has been fantastic to spend time together as a family, I am indeed looking forward a little alone time to craft ... and perhaps get some work done without someone calling out "Muuummmm!!!" every 5 seconds. One can hope!

If you have hopped here from Barbara's blog, you're in the right spot! It's still a very busy time, so the hop is a small one this time, but what we lack in size, we've made up for in the loveliness of the cards on offer.  I hope you'll agree.

Here is the sketch that Teneale has given us to work with  ...

Condolence cards are always difficult to make, especially choosing the right words to write inside. This card is of my friend Christine, whose Dad recently passed away. I hope it brings some comfort.

This card features the Wild About Flowers stamp set. It's the first card I've made using this set, and I loved how quick and easy it was to create a lovely card using this set.

The colour scheme is Pear Pizazz, Pool party and Basic Black.  I love these colours together ... they have a very soothing feel, I think.

I thought the flowers needed a little pop of Black, so I used the little dot stamp from the Number of Years stamp set to achieve this. I think it just ties all the element together. What do you think?

Allison is next stop in the hop, let's hop over to her and see what she has made.

Thanks so much for hopping by. See you next time :)

INKspired Blog Hop 48

Welcome to the INKspired Blog Hop #48. I hope you've had a wonderful Christmas and a very excellent start to the New Year.

If you have hopped here from Barbara's blog, you're in the right spot! It's still a very busy time, so the hop is a small one this time, but what we lack in size, we've made up for in the loveliness of the cards on offer.  I hope you'll agree.

I have created a birthday card for my gorgeous Mother-in-law, Anne.  She has a beautiful poolside garden in her home in tropical Townsville, so I think she'll love it.

This birthday card features the Affectionately Yours Specialty DSP which is just so gorgeous that you'll love every card you make with it. The flower stamp is from the Petite Petals stamp set and is punched with the coordinating Petite Petals punch. The card colours are Night of Navy and Watermelon Wonder.

I hope you like my card. Allison is next stop in the hop. Let's go and check out her awesome card.

Thanks so much for hopping by. See you next time :)
